NOT ONLY HAS FINN.NO (EST. IN 2000) BECOME THE BIGGEST MARKETPLACE IN NORWAY. NOT ONLY HAS IT BEEN SELECTED TO THE BEST WORKPLACE IN THE COUNTRY IN 2011. THE COMPANY ALSO MANAGES (WITH A LITTLE HELP) TO CREATE GREAT COMMERCIALS.

Pretty impressive. The director duo Thomas Løberg and Bengt Gabrielsen have previously worked together with the VGTV-series “The Shit”, and the have chosen to continue the great collaboration AND the focus on humour. These warm, pleasant and charming films from Finn.no certainly show that their efforts have paid off. The responsible production company is Seefood with Kristian Hajdu producing the project as the brand new head of the new advertising department. It is a great team to work with, and we at Hocus Focus are already looking forward to get our hands on the new season 2 of the television series NISSENE PÅ LÅVEN (=The Santa Clauses on the Barn) come fall. Post production by producer Henriette Carlsen and Hocus Focus: Edited by Thomas Løvig, colour grading, online and VFX by Haavard Albertsen and sound design by Johannes Ringen.

MOTION BLUR HAS MUCH ON ITS PLATE THESE DAYS, AND COMING UP IS ANOTHER FILM FOR THE PROVIDER OF EVERYDAY FOOD, RIMI.

The production company’s new director Sten Hellevik is back home from his permanent residence in Los Angeles, and he is now doing several projects here in Norway. To everyone’s joy and pleasure, we might add. This film is complementing the recent branding film Hocus Focus did together with Motion Blur and Johan Tappert (have a look at Rimi Kindergarten Hero). In the same spirit, however with his own touch, director Hellevik has created a film for the new Rimi APP. It all seems easy like a child’s play. However we can assure you it is many hours of online work behind the smoothness of this film, as presented on our TV screens. The 1 minute presentation of Rimi + works more like a user manual than an ordinary commercial. The only difference is that instead of getting bored or terrified, you want to start using the app and buy at lot of stuff you probably do not even need at your nearest Rimi store. In other words, great work especially by director Hellevik and the VFX and online team Haavard Albertsen and Bengt Ove Sannes. Produced by Ola Narum Berg, Motion Blur and post produced by Henriette Carlsen, Hocus Focus. Edited by Ove Kenneth Nilsen and sound design by Johannes Ringen and Anders Mørk.

SMALLFILM HAS PRODUCED A NEW CAMPAIGN FOR THE DIETARY SUPPLEMENT VITAEPRO WITH VERSIONS FOR THE NORDIC MARKET OF NORWAY, SWEDEN, DENMARK AND FINLAND. IT IS A LARGE PRODUCTION WITH A NICE MIXTURE OF NEW FILMS AND OLD FILMS, SOME FAMILIAR AND SOME UNKNOWN.

However, all of them have the same message. To keep up with your daily life of numerous activities, your body need a supplement and VitaePro might the solution. The commercials also continue to use “real” people and their statements of how well the product has worked for them. From operative purchaser Anna Linn to Torstein Sørensen and the buss driver who is sitting all they, but who loves to go rollerblading. The statements are still very convincing and works great. Never change a winning team... The campaign is directed by Mikkel Ohrvik and produced by the production company Smallfilm with Rut Solli at the head of the table. Post produced by Ole-Arild Svendsen and Hocus Focus: Thomas Løvig and Henrik Berge have edited the campaign, Bengt Ove Sannes is responsible for the VFX and colour grading. Sound design by Lydhodene. COMING UP: NEW PROFILE FILMS FROM TVNORGE. THE CHANNEL IS STICKING TO ITS GUNS AND THE CATCHY AND HIGHLY RECOGNISABLE SLOGAN “WHAT YOU WILL TALK ABOUT TOMORROW”. THE PROMOS ARE REFERRING TO (SURPRISE, SURPRISE) THE PROGRAMMES YOU CAN ENJOY ON THE CHANNEL AND ARE INCLUDING LOTS OF HUMOUR AND LAUGHTER.

You will meet the taxi driver, who tells his colleagues about this woman who sings the famous Norwegian song “Kjerringa med staven” (=old bag with a stick). A lifesaver who tells a funny story from her TV-evening, including an episode of Tufte; the football team that can not play football. Another one is with two guys, who are hanging in a lamp post, laughing their ass off Tommy Steine’s fear of heights in the programme 71 Degree North. A collage of all these films is wrapping it up, accompanied by a beautiful version of Sting’s “Fields of Gold”. Well done by director Ole Martin Hafsmo and the production company Fredrik Fiction. Produced by Kaja Amundsen. Post produced by Ole-Arild Svendsen and Hocus Focus: Haavard Albertsen (colour grading and VFX) and Preben Grieg-Halvorsen (sound design).

THE SOUND OF NORWAY: A CLEVER FILM PROMOTING THE RADIO CHANNEL P4 IS SOON COMING YOUR WAY. CLEVER BECAUSE IT IS SHOWING US VISUALLY WHAT WE MIGHT ASSOCIATE A CERTAIN KIND OF SOUND WITH. IT THEREBY PRESENTS US WITH THE ILLUSION, THE FASCINATION AND THE MAGICALLY TOUCH OF AUDIO.

Do we hear the sound of a smoke diver, as we sense the claustrophobic feeling of small and impassable spaces? Is it an out of breath bulldog or is it simply an elderly man, out of shape, going up an never-ending stairway? Or is it neither..? Perhaps you are just fooled by two studio-guys having great fun bringing forward all those images in your head with a huge pump – Oh yes, we love the radio. In addition, if you manage to guess what the source of a particular sound really is, you can also win a bunch of money, money, money. The production company is Filmhuset, the producer is Bruno Ø. Kvae and the director is Kjærand Nesvik. Post produced by Ole-Arild Svendsen and Hocus Focus. Colour grading and online by Bengt Ove Sannes.
