It is all about young people with big dreams and great ambitions, who got what it takes to succeed. In a new information and motivation campaign produced by The Film Agency, four films are telling the childhood stories of four such heroes. First one out is our number 1 star Martin Ødegaard, the winner of Statoil’s football scholarship 2014. Through the faces of different children, old footage as well as new, he tells us about a childhood of training at the cost of friends, parties and all-nighters of PlayStation. Martin Ødegaard believes it is not so much about talent, but more about training and willpower. So does the cross-country skier Astrid Uhrenholt Jacobsen, who also is a mentor for the Statoil Hero-Programme. The musician and winner of a scholarship in 2012, Mr Jarle Bernhoft tells the story of a shy and strange kid, who found his confidence through a guitar. We see all that individuality and hearing his voice telling us how important it is to believe in ourselves, even when nobody else does so. The fourth film is from Stine and from a science perspective. She remembers her childhood curiosity of everything - why does the wind blow and how can a plane fly? Stine has kept this curiosity and puts it into her work to find solutions we will need in the future. All of the films are beautifully put together in a mixture of past, present and future.
