THE SUMMER IS SOON UPON US, AND THE SEASON FOR EATING ICE CREAMS FOR THE NEXT THREE TO FOUR MONTHS HAS BEGUN. THE BEST TYPE IS OF COURSE SOFT SERVE, OR «SOFTIS» (LITERALLY SOFT ICE) AS WE CALL IT IN NORWAY.

Now Tine has released Piano Softis, so you can make it yourself in your own home. Very practical for the days you don’t have the time to go to your local ice cream parlor.

Directed by Sebastian Wartin, produced by Helene Honda Lunde and One Big Happy Family, and post-produced by Ole-Arild Svendsen for Hocus Focus. Edited by Ove Kenneth Nilsen, color grading by Haavard Albertsen, online by Bengt Ove Sannes and sound design by Erik Ljunggren.

THE LATEST CAMPAIGN FROM JORDAN KEEPS UP WITH THE LONG-STANDING SLOGAN IN RHYME JORDAN VET HVORDAN (JORDAN KNOWS HOW). STILL GOING STRONG AFTER 50 YEARS AS A STRONG MARKETING BRAND.

This time the company know how to make the perfect dish brush – for roasting tin, small pans with big ears and large mugs. A funny and sweet film with great coloured visuals directed by Erika Calmeyer, who is the brand new and very talented director at 4 ½. Produced by Benedicte Aubert Ringnes, post- produced by Lene Albertsen and Hocus Focus: Edited by Ove Kenneh Nilsen, colour grading by Mathias Theissen, online by Bengt Ove Sannes and sound design by Erik Ljunggren.

THE LATEST CAMPAIGN FROM SUBARU TAKES US BACK TO BASIC. FROM CITY LIFE AND DEEP INTO THE NORWEGIAN WOODS. TO SIMPLICITY IN BOTH COMMUNICATION AND IMAGES, WHERE THE KEYWORD IS SILENCE – A SILENCE SUBARU IS THE PROVIDER OF.

Very nice from Futatsu Industries and Fantefilm with director Andreas Lisberg. In cooperation with Hocus Focus: Post produced by Lene Albertsen, edited by Ove Kenneth Nilsen, colour grading by Haavard Albertsen, online by Bengt Ove Sannes and sound design by Erik Ljunggren.

MCDONALD’S LOVES THE NORWEGIAN FARMER. ACTUALLY, THE GIANT COMPANY LOVES THE HARDWORKING FARMERS SO MUCH, THAT A FOUR MINUTES COMMERCIAL FILM IS DEDICATED TO THEM.

Qvisten Animation and director Petter Jahre have produced a one-of-a-kind story of friendship in which puppets on strings held the main characters. The American street artist Ricky Syers has handmade the two good friends – the farmer and the restaurant worker – who stick together through the good times and the bad. Their relationship is that of silence and to describe this very special bond – no other than Ronan Keating and his “When You Say Nothing at All”. The song is originally a country song, however Mr Keating took it to number one at the charts in 1999, as it appeared on the soundtrack to the film Notting Hill. Well, now it is the soundtrack of a slightly shorter and less romantic story of Norwegian rural life and the way they nurture their potatoes, salads and cows. The quality of what the farmers produce equals the quality of what McDonald’s can offer - so there you have it.
