"MER" IS INSPIRED BY THE HARSH GRASP OF CONSUMERISM, AND HOW IT CAN MAKE US BLIND BY GREED IN THE PURSUIT FOR MATERIAL GOODS.

Director Kristoffer Klunk's story is set in a post apocalyptic world, where a group of nomads collect the remains of a lost society. But as their collection grows bigger, so does their desire for more. All that glitters is not gold.
This video was largely shot on Karmøy, an island located on the west coast of Norway, but also 1883 meters above the ocean on the peak of Gaustatoppen, a vast mountain overlooking 1/6th of the country.
The large flying factories were made by Steamheads, an Oslo-based VFX-house known for their work on films like Harry Potter and Elysium, and the rest of the post-production was completed at Hocus Focus.

A FUNNY AND WELL-MADE COMMERCIAL FILM FROM TANGRYSTAN HAS LAUNCHED A NEW DAIRY PRODUCT FROM ELDORADO CALLED FRISK.

A very sweet and rather annoying elderly man is asking the question – What is Kvarg? He is seeking everywhere – in the woods and at the sea, with magnifying glasses and binoculars, in the library and the plant kingdom’s geological history. The man with the woollen hat is even wondering if Kvarg might be the new Varg Veum. And the film works, as we get very curious as it progresses and no answer is given. According to the Big Norwegian Encyclopaedia, Kvarg is based on milk and is similar to cottage cheese. However, there is a difference, so we simply must run to the store and check it out.

Directed by Andrea Eckerbom, produced by Tangrystan, post-produced by Ole-Arild Svendsen and Hocus Focus: Edited by Thomas Løvig, colour grading and VFX by Haavard Albertsen and Bengt Ove Sannes, sound design by Preben Grieg-Halvorsen and Erik Ljunggren.

MCDONALD’S LOVES THE NORWEGIAN FARMER. ACTUALLY, THE GIANT COMPANY LOVES THE HARDWORKING FARMERS SO MUCH, THAT A FOUR MINUTES COMMERCIAL FILM IS DEDICATED TO THEM.

Qvisten Animation and director Petter Jahre have produced a one-of-a-kind story of friendship in which puppets on strings held the main characters. The American street artist Ricky Syers has handmade the two good friends – the farmer and the restaurant worker – who stick together through the good times and the bad. Their relationship is that of silence and to describe this very special bond – no other than Ronan Keating and his “When You Say Nothing at All”. The song is originally a country song, however Mr Keating took it to number one at the charts in 1999, as it appeared on the soundtrack to the film Notting Hill. Well, now it is the soundtrack of a slightly shorter and less romantic story of Norwegian rural life and the way they nurture their potatoes, salads and cows. The quality of what the farmers produce equals the quality of what McDonald’s can offer - so there you have it.
