HOCUS FOCUS CREATIVE HAS RECENTLY HAD THE PLEASURE OF PRODUCING A PROMO FOR THE UP AND COMING HANDBALL TEAM OF FALK HORTEN.

At the end of this season, the men’s team fought an exciting battle of keeping a place in the Elite series of next year – and made it! Now, we are launching the promo to kick-off the next season in the Grundig league. With powerful images of falcons, speed, technique and team spirit, together with a brand new and already legendary coach Johnny Jensen – Falk Horten is going for Gold.

The promo is produced by Lene Cathrine Albertsen, directed & edited by Ove Kenneth Nilsen and shot by Tommy Normann. Colour grading by Haavard Albertsen and sound design by Preben Grieg-Halvorsen. 3D animation is created by Steamheads and the Behind-the- scenes film is made by Ludvig Juvodden.

SINCE 1972 THE NORWEGIAN GRAMMY, OR SPELLEMANNPRISEN AS IT IS ACTUALLY CALLED, IS AWARDED TO THE BEST MUSICIANS IN A WIDE VARIETY OF CATEGORIES.

This year, we’ve had the pleasure to do post-production on the opening title sequence: Directed by Andreas «BomBom» Lisberg and produced by Rubicon, and set to the tune of Kygos «Stole the show».

Post-produced by Lene C. Albertsen and Hocus Focus: edited by Henrik Berge, colourgrading and online by Haavard Albertsen, additional sound design by Preben Grieg-Halvorsen.

A FEW WEEKS AGO THE LEGENDARY NATIONAL RAPSHOW WAS HIGH-JACKED BY DON MARTINITIO. DON MARTIN’S ALTER EGO – A MUPPET ON A STRING – IS THE MAIN CHARACTER IN HIS LATEST MUSIC VIDEO DIAMANTTYV.

It is a film about how a boy from eastern suburbia Oslo became a master of stealing diamonds. Or more precisely, one particular diamond. Rumours have it that the whole heist theme is a metaphor for how Don stole the heart of his beloved. Co-starring Mr. Martinitio is the one and only Mr. Jan Vardøen, among others. Much time has been spent together with director Kristoffer Klunk, researching how other Muppets are used in rap videos like Blackstreet’s No Diggity and unofficial, more fun ones at YouTube. The result is excellent and even Tommy Tee had problems controlling the engaged and agitated Muppet, who denied the very romantic aspect of it all. This is simply a great story and great rapping.

Post-produced by Lene Cathrine Albertsen and Hocus Focus. With Henrik Berge (editor), Haavard Albertsen (colour grading and online) and Preben Grieg-Halvorsen (sound design).

A GREAT AND GRAND SUMMER CAMPAIGN IS COMING UP FROM CHESS. WITH NO LESS THAN 16 FILMS AND VERSIONS, FANTEFILM WITH PRODUCER HALVOR LID AND DIRECTOR ANDREAS KLEIBERG ARE SETTING THE MOOD WITH RELAXED FUN AND EASY CONVERSATION.

The message is clear – what you need is the Chess combo. That is a double amount of data for free to the end of August. On top of the ordinary Chess criteras of course, which for instance means that you reach the people you want to get hold of, wherever they are. And cheap use of your mobile. And excellent client service. And much more. The combo of image, colour and sound at the screen are great as well – with all you could ever dream of for the summer. For instance dancing on rooftops with light bulbs, pretty people and loud music. If you’re not more of a head-spinning in the paint kind of a guy – you get that too.

Post-produced by Jon Anders Klausen, Lene Cathrine Albertsen and Hocus Focus: Edited by Henrik Berge, colour grading and online by Haavard Albertsen. Sound design by Preben Grieg-Halvorsen.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ANDREAS KLEIBERG FOR THE NOMINATION TO THE YOUNG DIRECTORS AWARD IN CANNES LIONS FOR THIS FILM ABOUT THE INFINITUM MOVEMENT.

The film encourage us to do something little for something grand – recycle our bottles and cans for the world’s environment health. Fantefilm and producer Halvor Lid have made a beautiful and meaningful film, showing us the rawness and wildness of nature in picturesque images. Presented as a documentary-like story about a surfer from Oddevik, his voice-over makes insightful reflections. About man and the sea, about how the ocean connects the world, and about the fact that since the 50ies, 150 million ton of eternal oil based plastic have been dumped in the ocean. It makes sense that the least we can do is to deposit our goods of plastic.
