COMING UP: THE BIG CHASE. DNB HAS DONE IT AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. THE CLOONEY CAMPAIGN IS UNBEATABLE IN A NORWEGIAN COMMERCIAL CONTEXT.

You might perhaps already seen a trailer of the sequel at the cinema or some sort of a burial on your television screen. We follow two burglars steeling the treasure chest from a previous commercial with Clooney and his extraordinary lucky wife. The pictures of the happy couple on the fridge are visible as the two dark-hooded men begin their very, very long escape. Simen is the childish one and Gunnar is the paranoid one. They have long and idiotic conversations about BSU, savings, and good fortune. The plastic shoes crocs is one topic, and the film Ocean's Eleven (2001) featuring George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt is another. After hotel showers in alcohol-free Champaign and bets on horses, the two men run away with the chest in the Norwegian woods. It looks incredible stupid, and nothing makes sense, really. One of them is identified, there are quarrels, darkness, digging and steadycam, helicopters, police and dogs are barking. Still, we don't know what's in that treasure chest, even after 26 minutes. Directed by Andreas Lisberg (BomBom), produced by the master company of horrific chases, namely Fantefilm and Elle-Beth Lønnestad. Post produced by Pia Nyhus and Hocus Focus: Edited by Henrik Berge, colour grading and online by Mathias Theissen and sound design by Preben Grieg-Halvorsen. What an exciting concept - watch this space...

COMING UP: A NEW AND TASTY PRODUCT FROM KIMS, THE NORWEGIAN STARMAKER OF SNACKS. NO KIMS, NO COSINESS OR SO THE SLOGAN GOES (IT SOUNDS MUCH BETTER IN NORWEGIAN, BY THE WAY).

The crackling, crunching, shattering, cracking sound of crispy maize Crunchos is the product in focus in this latest commercial film from the production company Tangrystan Productions. A bunch of up and coming young people are divided by graphical squares and triangles. The blond and blue-eyed girl with a black leather jacket. The black and brown-eyed with a light blue t-shirt. The incredible handsome guy with sparkling teeth and a denim shirt. The redhead and the smashing latino – the whole colourful lot is having so much fun and such a laugh over the sound of… not music, but Crunchos. Oh yes, and the one and only supercreative tv- and dancing celebrity Steinjo Grieg Halvorsen has both directed the commercial and made the crunchy music. What an energy from the additional comedian, writer and actor. Produced by Tangrystan and post produced by Ole-Arild Svendsen and Hocus Focus. Edited by Ove Kenneth Nilsen, online and colour grading by Haavard Albertsen and sound design by Preben Grieg-Halvorsen. KiMs Crunchos surely sounds good…

THIS IS THE NUMBER ONE JOKER STORY, SELECTED BY THE CUSTOMERS OF 2012 - SO CHARMING, SO TRUE AND PERHAPS SO RARE THAT IT BECAME A COMMERCIAL FILM.

So it goes: We are a group of men from Elverum who like to go fishing. Every summer we drive more than sixty Norwegian miles to Lierne in the North of Trøndelag. My oldest brother Jon's birthday frequently collides with our yearly fising trip, and the last time he became sixty years old. He said he did not want any celebration. However, the rest of us wanted just that. So we went to see Hege, working in the local Joker store, asking her about the possibility of buying a cream cake. We know that they actually don't have those, but Hege has a mum who loves to bake. And that very same evening, the nicest surprise in the world came along (perhaps you have guessed it already - the sweetest of cream cake). So both the jubilant and the rest of us experienced that good old fashion service had not become old fashion or out-dated at all. Nice, or what? Storytelling from the real world at its best from director Ubbe Haaving and the production company Trøbbel Film. Produced by Miriam Pedersen Eeg, post-produced by Pia Nyhus and Hocus Focus. Edited by Thomas Løvig, online and colour grading by Haavard Albertsen. Sound design by Preben Grieg-Halvorsen.

IT IS TIME FOR A NEW AND HOT MUSIC VIDEO. THE SONG IS OVER YOU AND IT IS COMING FROM THE ARTIST A-LEE.

The visuals are hot in many ways. Not only are we taken to a warm place in the southerly hemisphere, but we are also introduced to the Top Model babe Sylvia Geersen from the Netherlands. What a combo – and the music is rather nice too. The man himself says to the site 730.no that he thinks this single suits perfectly as the fall is here, the summer fling is over and people simply need to move on. He might be right. We are in a deserted landscape of sand and stone, and A-Lee is convincingly singing that he is over you, while we are seeing a smashingly beautiful couple arguing in the bed and at the beach. Suitcases are packed, pictures are thrown in the water and chess (!) is being played. I don’t know what the big deal is; however that might simply be because I did not listen well enough to the lyrics. The bottom line is: A-Lee drives off into the desert with the pretty girl. The end. Directed by Joon Brandt and produced by Ivan Jamne. Post produced by Ole-Arild Svendsen, and his team from Hocus Focus: Henrik Berge (editing) and Haavard Albertsen (colour grading). If you still are scratching your head, wondering why the name A-Lee sounds so familiar – we can help you out. Elisabeth Carew, say no more…

COMING UP: A BRAND NEW AND SHINY COMMERCIAL FROM JORDAN TOOTHPASTE, LOOKING LIKE A MILLION DOLLARS.

Coming up: A brand new and shiny commercial from Jordan toothpaste, looking like a million dollars. Surrounded by dazzling white, and with highly creative effects as means, a Norwegian health celebrity is telling us that it is the small things in life that is important for a sound body. Like the icing on the cake, she smiles as she encourages us to stuff ourselves with smaller pieces of cakes. Likewise to use the stairs instead of the elevator, the bike instead of the car and not at least go for products that is nicer to the body. Each and every point is beautifully illustrated with smashing colours, delicate silhouettes and imaginative Lego blocks. All of this for some toothpaste - Jordan Complete Protection - without sulphates and parabenes. According to this film, this product is one of the right choices to make to get stronger teeth AND better health. The production company is Fantefilm, with producer Elle-Beth Lønnestad and director Johanne Helgeland. Post produced by Hocus Focus and the team of Pia Nyhus (post producer), Henrik Berge (editor) and Haavard Albertsen (online and colour grading). I wonder why I get this urgent need to eat the whole cake and an enormous amount of chips as well... Does that mean that the commercial is working or rather the opposite?
