Safely behind the wheel and in the passenger seat of this amazing car, Anders asks Jørgen how another superhero - the one and only Petter Northug - REALLY performed in Marcialonga. With malicious pleasure, we can ascertain that the brothers came first and second in the competition and hence crushed the cocky Northug. Oh what a joy, and it keeps getting better. We can reveal two things, both that the commercial also involves something about staining a special kind of boat, and that you will see more from these dark-humoured athletes with an edge. The ambitious and alluring informative commercial takes us on a journey of Norwegian history. A history of war and piece, building up and tearing down, and of massive technological development. It is a story of change and of the messenger that is bringing us all together: Posten. The film starts and ends with Television News, but we are all well aware which medium came first. Oh, we love this film and Ole Paus has the perfect voice for the nostalgic postal trip from director Jens Lien. Lien’s ability to bring the stories of yesterday to the people of Norway with great love and care cannot be denied. The story of Posten is the perfect story for just that – the story of the survival of the fittest where transformation is the key. A film in both past and present tense from the producers Aksel Jermstad and Guri Neby. Hocus Focus and producer Pia Nyhus are – as always – very happy to get he change of working with such an excellent team and film in post production. The film is actually shot in the home of the duo in the outskirts of Valdres. Tonsåsen is where they live out their creative life, in an old and abandoned train station building. The film is nice, quirky and contradictory in terms, just as the whole concept of Arne & Carlos: It is all so Norwegian with the rural district, pots and pans and the knitted Norwegian sweaters and kettle holders. At the same time it is far too eccentric, challenging and contemporary to be anything near typical Norwegian - and we love it! This rather unpleasant situation kick-starts the new commercial campaign from Dannon in cooperation with the production company Tangrystan. Activia with strawberries is the product in focus. We are no longer talking about the Activia we promoted some time ago, in which the consumption of it was caused by a serious problem of bad digestion. We are rather talking about a sense of small time or big time hunger between the main meals. The craving for something to eat, which is supposed to be both healthy and good, and hence excludes chocolate, cake and biscuits. Ever experienced that? Well then, do not deny yourself a bit of luxury yoghurt with a taste of summer during daytime (night time too, for that matter). Enjoy this commercial from Tangrystan, a company obviously specialising in humour and production value. The film is directed by Adam Bonke and produced by Kristian Hajdu. FROM MOTION BLUR AND DIRECTOR STEN HELLEVIG: A PARTICULAR AND PECULIAR COMMERCIAL FILM PROMOTING KAVLI BACONOST (=CHEESE). A GREY, BORING, MIDDLE AGED - OR PERHAPS THEY CAN BE DEFINED AS AN OLD - COUPLE IS SITTING IN SILENCE EATING THEIR DINNER.
There is seemingly an ocean of space between them. Brown walls and a pearl necklace is the key here. Suddenly they freeze. The taste of what they are slowly chewing makes them stop. And I love this part, when the music burst into happy-go-lucky and TATA - a large pig with a pink suit is sitting at the end of the table, waving his arms and showing off a tube of cheese. The film surely brightens up the day and one can only hope that Kavli's cheese is doing the same thing. Produced by Espen Horn.
