COMING UP: A NEW AND CHARMING COMMERCIAL FROM MENY. BY SHOWING US HOW CHILDREN MIMIC AND COPY THEIR PARENTS AND OTHER IDEALS, THE FILM IS GIVING US PLENTY OF GOOD REASONS FOR BUYING MORE FRUIT AND VEGETABLES. FIVE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY, OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
The cause is healthy and there is no need to argue against the logic of it all. Who can by the way resist a little copycat? The boy who put his hands on his hips like his father, the girl who take her hair behind her ear in a too grown up kind of way, like her mother or curse at a bad driver, for that matter. The same little person will perhaps put carrots and broccoli in his or her shopping trolley like the parents, too. A sweet and poetic film from director Jens Lien and his brand new production company Einarfilm. Lien is back in the advertising business after finishing his feature film project SØNNER AV NORGE (=Sons of Norway). Keeping up the good work, the commercial is beautifully shot by Hallvar Bræin on location in Palma. The advertising agency is Ernö, the producer is Guri Neby and the post producers are Henriette Carlsen and Lene Cathrine Albertsen, Hocus Focus: Ove Kenneth Nilsen (editor), Haavard Albertsen (colour grading) and Preben Grieg-Halvorsen (sound).
