COMING UP: A FASCINATING AND FAST-FORWARD FILM TO GET YOUR ATTENTION. WHAT EXACTLY IS THE DELTA CENTRE? IT IS THE NATIONAL RESOURCE CENTRE FOR PARTICIPATION AND ACCESSIBILITY, WHICH MEANS THE FOLLOWING: ITS MAIN GOAL IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO ENABLING CHILDREN, ADULTS AND OTHERS WITH DISABILITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NORWEGIAN SOCIETY ON EQUAL TERMS WITH THE REST OF US.
The film is shot on 5D and the locations are key places in Oslo like inside and outside of the Central Station. By using fast-motion, the crowds of people are anonymous. However by occasionally slowing down, we notice those with specific needs and how they are able to manoeuvre through markings, elevators, door openers, guide dogs and so on. I really do like the girl in the red dress, spinning around just inside the main entrance of the Opera to Tone Damli’s Grand Prix hit ”Butterfly”: ”I think I need some air to start breathing”. It is a good and necessary cause financially supported by the Ministry of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion. The production company is Smallfilm with director Mikkel Ohrvik and producer Elisabeth Enstad. Post produced by Henriette Carlsen and Hocus Focus. Edited by Thomas Løvig, online and grading by Bengt Ove Sannes. Sound design by Anders Mørk and Lydhodene. For more information or if you simply are curious, take a look at www.deltanettet.no
