THE TV-CHANNEL TVNORGE AIMS AT BEING BEST IN THE COUNTRY ON HUMOUR PROGRAMING. ONE OF THE SERIES THAT IS HELPING THE CHANNEL TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL IN THE SPRING OF 2012 IS THE SECOND SEASON OF THOMAS GIERTSEN AND HELT PERFEKT (=COMPLETELY PERFECT).
Yes, it is as embarrassing, agonising and funny as the first season. Everything in the world of Thomas Giertsen has to be perfect. If it is not, he turns into this nagging, whining and incredible childish man, more infantile than a two-year old. We still cannot help wondering whether Mr Giertsen is being or playing himself - how close is the series to real life? This is a fascinating and important factor, which among others keep the tension in the series. We start up where we left Thomas in the first season, in an everyday situation, talking with his real life friend and brother-in-law Jon Øigarden. Jon is "babysitting" with total control via his Mac. That is how the two paranoid buddies come up with a bizarre system of surveillance of some innocent Bulgarians from a choir. And it just keeps coming more... Arild Frølich directs the series, in addition to a team of directors of the different episodes. Produced by Maren Onsaker and the production company Feelgood (very ironic, is it not?). Post produced by Pia Røe Nyhus and Hocus Focus: Colour grading by Shannon Morati and online by Bengt Ove Sannes. Watch this space and be embarrassed!
