WE REMEMBER IT VIVIDLY. THE PEASANTS IN TOWN (OR BØNDER I BYEN), A COMMERCIAL FILM FROM FELLESKJØPET AND FANTEFILM, PARADING OUR TV-SCREENS EARLIER THIS YEAR. WITH AN ARMY OF FARMERS AND GRANDIOSE MUSIC, THE COMMERCIAL WAS A GREAT SUCCESS.
It gave those working with nature and land new pride and an upgraded image. Now their back. In numerous versions of the original film, they are promoting everything from dog food to huge, rough, tough and green John Deere agricultural tractors, which are shown in the video above. The film still works exceptionally well, even in small and separated bits and parts. So does the general and encouraging message of all the films taken from the “mother commercial”: Go and buy your equipment of those who have the best knowledge. It seems like a very sensible and rational idea (especially when you look at those tall strong men in flannel shirts). What do they have knowledge about? Everything, including gardening tools, lawn mower, soil, earmuffs and chain saws. Pretty cool stuff from the maker of the Cold Prey trilogy, the production company Fantefilm and director Roar Uthaug. Producers are Hugo Fausker and Elle-Beth Lønnestad. Post produced by Pia Røe Nyhus and Hocus Focus: Rolf Thomas Løvig (editor), Haavard Albertsen (online and colour grading) and Preben Grieg-Halvorsen (sound design). Enjoy the spring with all its work.
