COMING UP: A PRETTY NEW MUSIC VIDEO FROM SON OF LIGHT. TO THE COOL AND RELAXED TONES AND MOOD OF SAFE AND SOUND, THERE IS A COOL, BUT NOT SO EASY TO FOLLOW STORY LINE OF THE MUSIC VIDEO. LUCKILY, I GOT HOLD OF THE PITCH TO THE VIDEO AND I CAN TEASE YOU WITH THE FOLLOWING:
A little girl is surrounded by demons in a cellar. She is saved by the Light and they are running away in a red Mustang. At the same time, in another place, a man is surrounded by enemies outside his house. When day turns to night, he is transformed into a Kendo Warrior, and is ready to meet the demons. Can it get more exciting than this? Yes, and it involves wolves and clean cuts… Hocus Focus’ Ove Kenneth Nilsen both edited the music video and made the 3D animation on Son of Light’s first album “Deep Green”, released in 1997. So when director Eric Magnusson called Ove and asked if he could cut the new video, it was easy to say yes. The cooperation is described as great, challenging and refreshing. After some colour grading work by Haavard Albertsen, the outcome – that is, the music video – is smashing.
