BRAND NEW IDENTITY-FILMS FROM TV3. THE VIASAT BROADCASTING OWNED TV3, WITH CENTRAL OFFICE IN LONDON UK, IS TRANSMITTING MANY OF THE EXCELLENT TELEVISION SERIES ON NORWEGIAN TELEVISION SCREENS (HBO – SAY NO MORE).
The three films produced by Fredrik Pryser and the production company Fredrik Fiction are surely short glimpses of delight, providing the channel with good Norwegian vibrations from all over the country. What they all have in common is the zooming out from a part of the image to the wider framing, which gives the films meaning with a sophisticated twist. What seems as a flower and fruit basket, turns however out to be a creation or hat on top of a cow’s head. The fisherman with a windsurfing board under his arm, is a painting on the wall on a boat shed, and to save the best for last: The silhouette-like unfocused trees, turns out to be reflections in a mirror attached to a minimalistic house in the woods. Yes, these are all good from director Stig Svendsen, whose feature film ELEVATOR is soon up on the cinemas in Norway, with a premiere at Tromsø Film Festival in February 2012. Post production by Ole-Arild Svendsen and Hocus Focus: Edited by Henrik Berge, colour grading by Mathias Theissen and Haavard Albertsen, online and VFX by Bengt Ove Sannes and Haavard Albertsen. Enjoy!
